On April 18, we celebrated National Poem in Your Pocket Day at Gaithersburg Elementary School. Students carried their favorite poems or chose from a display and then read their poems aloud. We also shared poems with other schools using Skype.

As a graduate assistant at UMD, I produced this video about our expanded campus at the Universities at Shady Grove as part of a presentation for the re-accreditation for the American Library Association.

Here is an example of an instructional video (screencast) I produced to demonstrate an electronic database.

I went to the midnight showing of The Hunger Games on opening night to interview teen fans about the popular series. What a blast!

For independent study, I worked with the local school district's professional association to produce an advocacy video about the role of school librarians.

Using a variety of tools to capture social media, I wrote, edited and recorded this short video about social reading sites.
